Greetings! Here’s the first of my Holiday Looks I wore to celebrate the Christmas festivities.

I had absolutely no intention of wearing this on the night of this particular party, but I had a wardrobe catastrophe with my intended outfit and had to throw this on in five minutes. It turned out to be a better choice though because it was so cold. And the rest of the look …

Shopping and Such

I’m taking a break today from “Holiday Considerations”. The more I “consider”, the more I discard potential holiday outfits. Since the clock is winding down, I’m just going to wing what I wear for the festivities. If any looks are decent, I’ll post them here. :)

Anyway, I had some shopping to do today and this is what I wore.

Calf hair belt from Marni’s second fall season (1999 as I recall) …

A favorite pea coat. I didn’t get the most detailed pictures, but there’s a lot happening and next time I’ll try to capture that …

Holiday Consideration #2

Greetings! Today’s post is about the second outfit I’m considering for this season’s festivities.

The skirt is a little something I picked up a few weeks ago and sadly, doesn’t photograph terribly well. The classic Missoni knit drew me in along with the pleating, which is a little unusual in a knit skirt.

With a shearling jacket from Richard Chai …

As I look at these pictures, I’m thinking that this one will not make the cut. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t care for the pictures or if I know I can do better.

Holiday Consideration #1

There are a handful of events I’ll be attending this holiday season. Today I began the painful process of trying to decide what I might like to wear. As you expect, I prepare by seeing how something looks in photos. As promised in last time’s post, here’s the first look that may make the cut.
