Pearls and Red Wine
Before we stepped away for dinner last night, I snapped off a couple of fast pictures. In these photos, I wear a Donna Karan long, sleeveless tunic over a Moschino Cheap and Chic sweater, a Derek Lam skirt, and Moschino “pearl” sandals.

Last night’s wine with dinner is a favorite of mine, Earthquake Zinfandel (hence, the “red wine” part of this post’s title). California wines really are the best! More on the way. — Carole

Smart Shopping

Couture Couture, Prada, Target
I’m absolutely thrilled about the shoes I’m wearing here. I just got these at Target. Look how similar they are to this pair of current season Sergio Rossi sandals …

$25 vs. $700. Tough decision, huh? I believe I can give up the edgy back zipper for that much of a price difference. Target makes me feel sasy and smart

I also wear a dress by Couture Couture and a Prada bag. More soon. — Carole

Exotic Spice
I title this post “Exotic Spice” due to the rich saffron color of my skirt, not because I’m trying to channel any of the Spice Girls
Anyway, this is what I wore out last night. The lace cardigan and ruffle blouse are both Rebecca Taylor, the skirt is Chloe, the necklace is Steven Dweck, and the shoes are Loeffler Randall.

Kindly excuse my tilted stance, I feel at my best when I’m off center

High School Reunion
Dress From High School + Me = High School Reunion. How about *that* math?

Vintage dress, Urban Outfitters, Steven Dweck, Moschino
The no name dress I wear is a dress I wore in high school. I guess that makes it vintage
Anyway, I wore it a lot because I loved it and also explains why I still have it after all these years. I decided to bring it out because of its classic wrap style and its lovely vintage flower print.
I also wear a scarf from Urban Outfitters. Since UO is more or less a “high school” store, the scarf seemed appropriate to my post. All of the chains are from Steven Dweck and the metallic blue, crackled leather shoes are Moschino.
A closeup of the print and the scarf …
