I live and work in N. California. I’ve had a long love affair with fashion, ever since I can recall. I remember becoming “fashion aware” at age 4 and having to have a pair of pale pink, patent leather Mary Janes — flats, of course 
I wore those shoes every day until I outgrew them. At age 6, I recall styling myself with a pink shirtdress with a large, pale gray elephant applique, a cute pink & pale green patterned headband, and chic black patent flats. At 8, I had the most beautiful royal blue suede and Mongolian fur “Maxi” coat (similar to the one Kate Hudson wore in “Almost Famous”, except mine was much, much better!) Anyway, you get the idea — I have been infatuated with fashion for my entire life. Of course, I don’t wear the crazy outfits of my youth anymore (looking freakish is so last decade.) Today, I find that my taste runs more to (what I consider) beautiful, well-made garments with a very feminine aesthetic.

I came across your blog from the Stylethread website. I must say your style is super chic. It is nice to see someone have such a great appreciation for fashion and see it for what it really is which is great art. Not just something we put on everyday b/c we have to. Wow Sasy!! You have one of the most incredible senses of style I have ever seen. You have a talent to choose pieces that are really amazing in isolation, but never look too much when you put them together. I think your look is amazing – it is obvious you have an eye for fashion, because if I saw you in the street you are someone I could tell knows fashion, without it just being a lot of items thrown together that some magazine had said was “in fashion.” Keep doing what you’re doing!!
