Today’s post is a quick one. I wore this dress, which I’ve had for a couple of years, for the first time on Saturday. I guess it’s not really a favorite of mine because before wearing, I threw it in the washing machine. I’ve been washing a great deal of my dry clean only items in the washing machine, with great results. (In the event of catastrophe, I will comfort myself with the thought that I can ruin my clothes just as easily as the dry cleaner but it won’t cost me as much. 
) This one was a little hairy though because when it came out, it was all shriveled up like a prune. It’s a silk/cotton blend and apparently when wet, it contracts. Fortunately, as it dried, it relaxed back into shape. Ah, fun with fabric.
