Need A Little Christmas

During my life, from the time I was a kid until young adulthood, I was very involved in my local community theatre. “Mame” was my first play (Could this be why my fashion sense is so extravagant?, Is it Mame’s influence early in my life?). So naturally, every year at Christmas I must hear (many times, in fact) the song, “We Need a Little Christmas”. I’ve embedded a youtube video from 2007 where Angela Lansbury (the original Mame in the musical version) sings, “We Need A Little Christmas”, more than 40 years after she performed on Broadway. I found this video to be so charming (Ms. Lansbury forgets and flubs a few lines, but she’s Angela Lansbury and can do no wrong, right?). I hope you enjoy it too.

I wish all of my Christian readers, a “very Merry Christmas” and my non-Christian readers, “Happy Holidays”. May all of your hopes and dreams come true. — Carole

  4. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Carole. I love reading your blog posts, you are one stylish lady!

Re. your Rodarte for Target post above, I think I’ve bought too many in this particular collection (I love tulle and lace), including the “Love Child” atch-a-sketch top, as it looked very interesting. I am going to shorten the sleeves (up to my elbow) though.
