I have been looking for the opportunity to wear this strapless, tiered, bow across-the-bust lbd. I never show much skin, so the dress, which is probably 3 yrs. old, has been languishing in a closet. My cute little shrug, that I pre-ordered last summer, arrived just a few weeks ago giving me the chance to wear a dress I’ve wanted to wear for some time now.

The shrug has a double zipper and is a heavy-weight knit. The dress is a heavy-weight silk satin and has the cutest bow detail …

My dress is RED (Valentino’s contemporary line) and the shrug is from Narciso Rodriguez. I also wear suede, laser-cut booties from Valentino that I got in the “good old days” — last winter when retailers had to practically give merchandise away. *sigh* Those were some good times. The tights are Wolford from many seasons ago and I don’t remember the style name.
That’s all in this installment. More to come soon. — Carole

Cute idea! I love the shoes.

Thanks so much. It keeps me covered up & warm. As for the shoes, I sure do hope there will be more killer sales (like that one was) at the end of this season.

Those tights! Too awesome. I’m going to need to travel back in time and score all of your amazing Wolfords.

Thanks, dear. I’m glad I got as many as I did (on sale, of course) in the old days because their designs are a little lackluster these days.

Your cut-out lace shoes are awesome! It made me want to spend money and buy these 2 from my local Anthropologie store:
Black color crochet lace ones called Bewitching Booties

and
Lace-Cut Oxfords in Taupe color

I just got them yesterday and love them!
