Most fashion-loving people save up their excitement for Paris Fashion Week. Not me. Milan is where the action is, as far as I’m concerned. As you might expect, I always check the show schedules for the Moschino & Moschino Cheap and Chic shoes (oops!) shows first. I actually record their dates into my scheduling software and they are the only two I bother to do that with. Since Erin calls me the “Queen of Moschino”, I feel it’s my duty to share my very favorite looks from the Moschino & Moschino Cheap and Chic shows with you.

Check out the “daisy hat”. I love that so much. *sigh* I doubt it’ll make it into production though. Looks like I have a new DIY coming up

This next dress is my favorite piece from the collection. I already have (practically) this dress, but without the heart, from when mainline Moschino did the piece in S/S 2006.

The dress I have from S/S 2006
I admit I was a little concerned prior to seeing the collection, as I haven’t been crazy about what the house has been doing for the last few seasons. It’s nice to see that Cheap and Chic is “back” with the usual fun, whimsical creations they’ve built their business on.
S/S 2010 Moschino
This first look is quintessential Moschino — It’s Chanel-like, but in a young, fresh, and fun way.

And another signature Moschino look, a TROMPE L’OEIL coat …

And finally, a Moschino “classic”, the “Heart Bag”, updated with a cute little bow. I posted this one for you, goldenmeans.

That’s all for now. I’ve been very busy with a project, so I’ve not posted as often as I like to. More outfit posts are on the way soon. — Carole

I usually love Milan most, but I feel a little let down this year…though I could say the same for both NY and London too, so it doesn’t mean much!

NY was pretty…unfortunate, as it’s been for the last few seasons, with a few exceptions. I (surprisingly) liked London more than I usually do. As for Milan, it keeps getting better and better as Fashion Week progresses. I loved Bottega, Missoni, and the shoes & bags at Jil Sander too.

you pretty much *are* the queen of moschino in my eyes too, thank you so much for sharing your picks from the shows! *every* single look you showed in the moschino show is pretty much killing me — especially the pearl trimmed suit, the fabulous coat and the cherry print pieces! and that last dress is something special
good luck with your project!

lol (and beaming with happiness) at my “title”. I hope that heart bag goes into production (it probably will), as I know how much you’re interested in one. If I see it, I’ll let you know, of course.
