One of the best things about Moschino and its related brands is that Rosella Jardini, Creative Director for Moschino, has kept Franco’s iconic symbols of the house alive.  Symbols such as the heart, the exclamation point, the question mark, the peace sign, and the duck continue to grace many of the clothes, shoes, and accessories of the Moschino brands.  I enjoy the whimsey, originality, and great fit of the designs, and consequently, attempt to acquire several pieces each season.

One day while at Nordstrom, I saw the most adorable red dress with fuschia hearts and knew it had to be mine …

I wear the Moschino Cheap and Chic dress with a Roberto Coin necklace that I wear *all* of the time, a Forever 21 bangle, and gold glitter platform sandals from Miu Miu.

To keep warm, I covered up with a faux lynx coat I picked up two or three years ago from the kids’ department at Neiman’s …

As I mentioned earlier, I try to get a few Moschino items each season. Sometimes, though, some pieces elude me. The next two pictures are some of the ones that got away …

Lovely Readers, if you see either the “Globe Bag” or the “Doggie Bag”, would you kindly let me know? I’m not sure if the “Doggie Bag” went into production, but several colorways were shown on the runway. Any colorway would be terrific!

I leave you with some images of the new Maison Moschino Hotel and a whimsical Chrismas window from one of the Moschino Boutiques …

  1. Mmmh Actually Moschino’s creations remind me on a playful sense of Baroque, full of “enlightened (and High-Classy) eccentricity” . . .

    • Adore Moschino! The bags are increasingly hard to get in the US. Will email you regarding some possibilities.

  3. You are the Moschino queen, and this dress is one of my favorites yet! You look so fantastic, and the faux fur is just the icing on the cake. Perfectly executed, as usual.

    • Ha! “Moschino Queen” — I like the sound of that. “Moschino Queen” is playing in my head right now to the tune of Abba’s “Dancing Queen.” Thanks for your sweet comment!
