Thanks for your good wishes. It’s definitely a hardware issue. I’m not worried about losing my data, since I take incremental backups. BUT I do want to recover my hard drive so that I won’t have to reinstall a ton of software. As for the Mac, it’s my first and I bought it for development Thank you also for compliments on the shoes and belt. I agree, nothing beats a simple black belt!

I have to say, I have come around to loving Macs eventually from a lifetime of PC use after I had to switch for work, but I understand it just must be so frustrating and annoying reglardless.
