Derek Lam, Moschino Cheap and Chic, Akris, Alexander McQueen, 80s earrings
I’ve been unable to post over the last couple of days because I lost my machine. After the last two days of slugging it out with Windows, hard drives, cables, adapters, etc., I can say that my mood is definitely blue. To take a break from it all, Mr. Sasy and I are getting away for a couple of hours. I try to cheer myself up in a Derek Lam top, a Moschino Cheap and Chic skirt, an Akris belt, Alexander McQueen shoes, and earrings I’ve had since the eighties.

I love the whimsy of this skirt. If you look closely, you’ll see that half of the skirt is ruffled and the other half is pleated. Next, I show a closeup of the earrings I bought sometime in the mid-eighties. I adore these — they’ve always felt so Christian Lacroix to me …

That’s all for now. Wish me speed in my replacement machine’s arrival. Until then, I will continue to torture myself with my Mac. More soon. – Carole

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear about your computer! What went wrong with it? I have to say, I have come around to loving Macs eventually from a lifetime of PC use after I had to switch for work, but I understand it just must be so frustrating and annoying reglardless. Hope your new machine arrives soon!
Love and adore those Alex McQueens btw, and I have now convinced myself I need a belt as simple and perfect as that Akris one!

Hi goldenmeans! Thanks for your good wishes. It’s definitely a hardware issue. I’m not worried about losing my data, since I take incremental backups. BUT I do want to recover my hard drive so that I won’t have to reinstall a ton of software. As for the Mac, it’s my first and I bought it for development Thank you also for compliments on the shoes and belt. I agree, nothing beats a simple black belt!
