I forgot to post this earlier, so I’ll do it now. Last Friday night, I wore a dress by UK high street brand, Oasis. I also carried a bag from Pollini and wore shoes from Alexandra Neel. Though I’ve had these shoes forever, last Friday was the first time I’ve worn them <blush>.

I’m not wearing anything you haven’t seen before, if you’re a regular reader — except the shoes. Tonight’s outfit is a lace top from Topshop, an Alexander McQueen lace skirt from many, many seasons ago, an Akris belt, and Banfi Zambrelli shoes.
I regret I didn’t get a decent picture of the shoes, but it’s really hard sometimes to get good photos using the camera’s self timer as a photographer. Maybe it’s just as well because these shoes, though they’re very lovely, aren’t what I’m really wanting to wear with this. I want to wear a pair of red Mary Jane pumps, but I can’t find them at the moment. I’m sure I’ll have better luck another time in showing you these Banfi shoes (and let’s hope I find my red shoes soon too.) Oh I almost forgot — though it’s hard to see here, I crimped my hair again. I’m having great fun with my crimper.
My husband is saying we’ll be really late, so I have to run now. More soon. — Carole
I dug out an old Milly skirt to wear today. I could live in this skirt — it’s so easy to wear. I pair it with a no name sweater, Marni pins, and my new Loeffler Randall sandals.

I am feeling inspired today by “The King and I”, which explains the title of this post. I’m a huge fan of musicals and I was very involved in performing in this theatre genre when I was a teen.
Anyway, the dress I wear is a puzzle print dress from Stella McCartney, the tights are Wolford, the shoes are Banfi Zambrelli. I also wear a Prada jeweled headband which makes me feel like a princess
