I’ve been dying to wear this Marni tulle skirt forever, but never seemed to get around to it. Today I pair it with a Moschino Cheap and Chic black wool and pink applique jacket, a Paul Smith Women t-shirt with a sequin front, and Chloe heels.
Sometimes, I go on color binges. They usually don’t last longer than a couple of days though, then it’s on to the next idea 
Today, really tonight since this is what I wore out to dinner, I am loving black, white, and blue together. In this picture I wear a black wool Akris Punto coat, a blue See by Chloe blouse, and white skirt by Twinkle, white tights from Wolford, and white suede Louis Vuitton pumps. I’ll get a better picture of the blouse and skirt next time I wear them.
I am wearing a Heidi Weisel shell, a vintage Gianfranco Ferre skirt, vintage “pearls”, an Elizabeth Showers gold chain, and Manolo Blahnik lace booties.
I really love the “architectural construction” of the skirt ruffle. Mr. Ferre’s designs always feel fresh, no matter how old they are. Fashion has lost a true genius in Gianfranco Ferre’s passing last year.
Lace booties
I really didn’t expect to dig these lace booties out of storage (I’ve had them for at least 4 years) to wear this season, but they are so right now, I couldn’t resist. I love Manolo Blahnik, he never disappoints. And though not always the edgiest shoe designer, his designs (and comfort factor) stand the test of time.

From time to time, I love to go through my old stuff and see what kinds of looks I can come up with. On my last closet raid, I found an old Oscar de la Renta scarf, a very old, no name sweater, a Milly skirt from a couple of years ago, and these Gucci pumps from Tom Ford’s reign at the house and which I’ve not yet worn out. I plan to change that soon though because I can’t believe how comfortable these shoes are for such a high heel.

I can’t wait to wear these too! Kindly ignore my smaller left foot. I’ll have to “foot petal” these up.

Meant to post this sooner…On election night while out watching the returns with friends and acquaintances, I wore both blue and red to represent all of the states My blue leather jacket is by Akris, the eggplant, brown, and cream vest is from Dana Buchman, the khaki skirt is Theory, and the red faux eel skin pumps are Pollini.
